Experiential Landscapes for Clarity, Perspective, and Lasting Presence
Kelly Sooter creates experiential landscapes collected by professionals, private collectors, and advisors who value work that brings clarity, perspective, and lasting presence to the spaces where people live and work. Rooted in classical European training and shaped by lived experience, each painting is developed over several months through a disciplined, layered process that emphasizes depth, permanence, and craftsmanship.
With a limited annual output, each work is created to serve as more than decoration. Whether placed in a private residence, executive office, or client-facing environment, each painting offers a lasting presence that encourages focus, composure, and reflection.
Over the years, collectors have shared that these paintings often become quiet places of refuge amid demanding lives. One collector selected a painting for his office because he wanted something calming to see each day in the midst of a high-pressure profession. Another collector returned again and again during his lunch hour simply to spend time with the paintings until the gallery owner eventually placed a chair there just for him. Experiences like these continue to shape my understanding of how art can quietly support people in the environments where they live and work.
A current inventory of available works is maintained throughout the year, with new paintings released as each collection evolves. Placement inquiries, inventory sheets, and additional images are always available upon request.
I value long-term relationships with art advisors and design professionals, providing responsive communication, current inventory information, and collaborative support throughout the placement process.
